happy holidays and such

Hi folks! I'm writing you from my new Kindle Fire HD. This thing is fabulous! I hope everyone had a great holiday season and got all they asked for and more. I had a lovely time w/ my family and friends.

I've been reading a few books lately. I started "the casual vacancy" by J.K.Rowling but I haven't finished it because I'm not into it at all. I find its very slow- moving and it isn't holding my attention at all. I'm also reading Fables vol 13, which is fantastic of course, and "Mortal Obligation" by Nichole Chase. Here is the Goodreads link Mortal Obligation. It's pretty good! Find it on Amazon for FREE!

I saw "The Hobbit" last week; its so good! It wasn't as good as LOTR but still good.I was very excited to see the dragon, Smaug.

Anywho, go get a e- copy of "Mortal Obligation" and curl up somewhere warm. Happy holidays!

review "The Vampire Hunter's Daughter" complete series

Good morning. Happy December! It's winter time so you know that means I will be on-line more. I will try to review more books here, I promise. And maybe throw some more of MY stuff on here too. :)

This morning, bundled in blankets, reading my Kindle by book light,  I finished off "The Vampire Hunter's Daughter" series by Jennifer Malone Wright. This is a 6-story series that equals out to a novel when put together, like in the edition I have. I had read #1 a few months back, but Ms. Wright was offering some swag in return of reviews, so here we go. (Yes, I can be bought with swag, heheh). She was kind enough to send me a cool swag pack, even though I ordered the kindle edition and not the book. So, the story is about the life of 14-year-old Chloe who was raised by her mother and whose entire existence changes in one night. Everything she thought she knew is wrong; her father is not dead, her mother was a vampire hunter, and she has some special skills she never knew she had. Want more? Go read it. :D

For more of my own review, go here: my review on Goodreads

You can find Ms. Jennifer at various places:
Right now on Amazon, the 6 book series is $4.99 for kindle. Buy it here:on Amazon

She does have another book I intend to read, at some point, "The Birth of Jaiden".Find here on Goodreads

Also, fellow authors, please know that i love to read, but sometimes I don't have the time to do so. If  I have promised you a review, I WILL get to it. I swear.

hola! Happy post-Thanksgiving

It's been ages, I know, I'm sorry. Life just gets in the way and I am terribly lazy about blogging.

I'm going to start reading more again, too..more than graphic novels. I have been deeply engrossed in the Fables series. Have you read it? Do you like fairy tales? Go read them. There are 17 currently. start with:
Fables-Vol-Legends

And no, I am not writing either..sigh.

Okay, here I am, updating...

Alright, it has been awhile so let's see...what have I read recently? Oh lots!

1. "Bloody Little Secrets" by Karly Kirkpatrick. 17 year-old Vicky wakes up in a coffin and she's a vamp! Check out my review on Goodreads here. She's on Facebook-fb link

2. "Sisters Red" by Jackson Pearce. This is was so much fun to read! It's a great adaptation of the Red R Riding Hood fairy tale. Pearce has a few other books out that I will be reading soon.

3. "Crossed" by Ally Condie, #2 in the Matched series. If you like YA futuristic utopia stuff, go read this. Seriously, but start with "Matched". she has a FB author page-here.

4. "Wander Dust" by Michelle Warren. This book is great! You can read my review here on GR.Check out her FB pageMichelleWarrenAuthor MUST READ!

Okay, one more, even though I have A LOT more than 5 recently.

5. "Tsunami" by my high school chum Crystal Ward. This is #2 in the Supernova Saga. In this one we find Evania finds herself getting comfortable with being who she is, but of course something has to happen to screw that up. Que more battles, in which she truly shines, and her Equal. And more romance.
It's a small review, but mine is here. You MUST go read this. Read Supernova first. Find Crystal on FB over here.

Another BIG thing that happened is my pal JH Glaze (author page) had a big giveaway and stunningly, I won 1st prize! Thank you for the Kindle and all the great books JH! You should go read ALL of his books, but especially "The Spirit Box" as I hear lots of great things about it. Find it on Amazon, or read the info at Goodreads, "The spirit box". I will start on ALL of the e-books soon, promise.

Til next time...

this is a rant

I love reading. I really love reading.I enjoy editing too. I really hate reading poorly edited books, novellas, etc.  With the new age of self publication and e-publishing, editing is falling by the wayside, and its making me insane. I cannot finish a perfectly good story if it's full of grammatical and spelling errors. Authors, if you're going to publish, however you do it, hire an editor. Hell, give your manuscript to a trusted friend. Just have someone edit it please! The slew of poorly written (and edited) stories I have recently read makes me want to never write again. Or at least stop reading all these new, e-published works.

So, the moral is: just because you wrote it, doesn't mean you can't have someone edit it. I had one author tell me she/he doesn't fix the mistakes, that's what he/she has a publisher for. I wil never read any of his/her works again. Don't be self righteous just because you're an author, you're making us all look bad. Please , have someone proofread before you publish.

End rant.

I had to write one thing today though. I picked up "A Dog's Purpose" yesterday from my local library and finished it thsi afternon. Wow was it amazing. It had me crying and laughing constantly. Angel of Mercy
by Katherine Tildes

Emily held Mrs. McGregor's hand as the 97-year-old woman took her last breaths, her soul  rising from her body like a wisp of smoke, and hanging in the air expectantly. Emily withdrew her fingers carefully from the death grip and smiled down on the body. She pulled the pink blanket up and covered dear Mary's face, closing the woman's eyes with her left hand. "May you go in peace now Mary, I will guide your soul," she whispered to the corpse, doing part of her duty. closing her eyes, Emily reached out  her mind and with ghostlike fingers grasped the hovering soul, which shimmered for a second then blinked out of existence, not than anyone other than a Reaper, Angel or Demon could have seen it before. Emily felt a sort of tickle and opened her eyes. She knew Mary's soul had just gone off to wherever it was going, using her as a conduit to get there. Emily smiled, basking in euphoria for a moment, and walked out of the room into the busy halls of the ER.

There was a taste ;) Enjoy! :p

oh look, a short story teaser!

I started writing this today at work and was able to finish it thankfully. I had to write it on paper so I am slowly typing it up. Here's a peek:

“I'd sell my soul for that...”

“No! Stop! Don't say that, please,” she pleaded, reaching her arms out for her friend, Sarah, who was sitting across the table from her. “Sarah, please don't say that,” Alyx begged again, a wild look in her eyes.

Sarah looked back at her friend earnestly. “Relax, Alyx, it's just a saying. The Devil doesn't even exist.” She brushed a hand through her long blonde hair, flipping it out dramatically.

“He does, trust me,” Alyx whispered, “I know all too well...”

“So, what about the new Environmental Law professor Mr. Lucas...” Sarah said, changing the subject quickly. She ignored her best friends mumblings, even though she knew exactly what Alyx had said.

Alyx rolled her eyes and picked at her salad as she listened to Sarah prattle on about the new professor. He is hot, she thought, too bad he's a demon...She knew because she could see demons, well, any non-human (or ex-human), ever since the incident.

do you want some more??

Ok, I will keep randomly giving out  some more of work-in-progress novel...if you want it!!

(insert maniacal laughter)

For real, here ya go...a bit more this time!

He woke up in a dumpster. “Fuck, am I dead,” he questioned out loud. He looked around him and sniffed the air. “Oh, I’m in a dumpster. Vince, you idiot, you’re not dead…Damn feels like it though,” he pushed open the dumpster lid and peered out. His back ached, his legs felt weak, and he felt slightly dizzy. He shook his head and stretched his arms up. It was light out but dark in the alley where the dumpster was located. He jumped out of the dumpster with apparent ease, despite his aching body, and slammed the lid shut. He glanced down at himself, his uniform was ripped and smelled worse than it ever had, which was a feat in itself. Vince walked toward the street and shrieked when the sunlight hit him. “Jesus Christ,” he yelled loudly, shielding his eyes and cowering to the ground. He tried to walk into the street and his entire body hurt, it felt like he was on fire. He was, actually, he realized as he saw flames rising off of his shielding arm. He shrieked, pounded out the fire, and retreated to the alley, hiding behind the dumpster. He pressed himself to the wall and started sobbing. He realized his tears were red, like blood. At some point, he must have fallen asleep.

***
When he woke up again it was dark. The sun had set and the streets were busy with people running here and there. The distinct sound of car horns made him wince, a headache dwelling deep in the back of his head. He uncurled himself and looked at his hands. They were grimy and covered with dirt, likely from his job and hiding behind the dumpster. He stood up, groaning loudly, and stretched his back and arms. “Fuck me, this sucks. When is the pain going to stop,” he asked out loud, leaning against the brick wall behind him. He stepped out from behind the dumpster. Rats scurried as he moved. “Filthy vermin,” he attempted to kick one but hit the air, losing his balance and bracing himself against the dumpster. Vince brushed his sleeves and ran a greasy hand through his dark, shoulder-length hair. He shook his head to try and shake out the headache but it wouldn’t budge. “God damn, I’m thirsty…” he mumbled, “I suppose I should get out of his alley and just go home,” he said as he started to walk out of the alley. He stood at the edge of where the sidewalk met the street and looked around. He knew where he was but it was a long walk back home, five miles at least. He checked his pocket and found his wallet. “At least the fucker left me my money…” Vince attempted to hail a cab. He got one after a few minutes and before long he was outside his flat.

He found his keys still attached to a belt loop, where they always are. He opened his door and stepped in, grasping for the entry-way light. The light flickered on and cast a dingy yellow tint on his scuffed hardwood floors, the beige couch he had found on the job, the beaten up mahogany table that Mort had helped him drag back from the west side one night. Vince threw his keys on the table and fell onto his couch. Alex, his tabby cat, wandered into the room from the kitchen, where he liked to sit in the window and drink the water from the dripping sink. Alex meowed quietly and pressed his face into Vince’s hand. “Hey kitty kitty,” he grumbled, “I bet you’re hungry. No telling how long I’ve been gone. I’ll feed ya in a minute, Alex,” he said, petting the cat lovingly. Vince sat on the couch, dazed and confused about his life. “I don’t know what happened to me, Alex, but I feel like shit,” he said, finally forcing his aching legs to work and his tired feet to move him to the kitchen. He dug around for the can opener, which was never where he last put it, and a can of cat food. Alex jumped on the counter and rubbed his hands as he opened the can. The cat dove right in as soon as the lid was off and Vince leaned onto the sink.

Think I’ll take a shower, Al, I smell worse than death.” He trudged down the hallway to the bathroom, grabbed his towel off the door, and stripped off the torn uniform. His arms were covered in bruises. There was blood all down his neck and shoulders. “Jesus Christ…” he swore, turning around to see his back in the mirror. His hair was matted and had leaves and dirt stuck in it. He turned back around to inspect his neck. Upon further inspection he could see two tiny pricks where the blood had clearly come from. It looked as if he had been bitten by a snake. “What the fuck,” he swore loudly, staring at the holes in his neck. They were scabbed and had dried blood surrounding them. “Well, I might as well get the dirt off,” he muttered, turning on the water to hot and stepping into the shower.

It was the straight up the best shower he had ever taken. Forty minutes later he stepped out onto the mat and dried off. “Well, at least my hair and body are clean,” he said, looking into the mirror again. “Damn bruises won’t go away for awhile I’m sure,” he mumbled, going to his bedroom. He threw on a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt that had been lying on the floor, some socks from his drawers, and he tossed his hair about for a few seconds to shake out the water, much like a dog would. Alex padded into his room and meowed loudly. “Always making an entrance, Al,” Vince said, reaching down to pet the cat. He groaned as he straightened out again. “God damn back hurts,” he grumbled. Vince found his watch on the bedside table and saw the time. “Christ, its eight o’clock already. Where the hell did…oh, right. Behind the dumpster...” He put on his silver necklace, a present his now-deceased mother gave him a few years ago. He recalled having protested that she spend what little money she had on him, but she had said, “Boy, you’re my only child, I have to spoil you sometimes.” He smiled at the memory. “God I miss her…” She had died two years ago when the pancreatic cancer she had been fighting for three years came back in full force before the medicine and chemotherapy could do anything. She died a few months after her relapse. “God rest your soul, Mum,” he whispered. “Shit, I should call Mort, I bet he wonders what the hell happened to me!” He went to get the phone.

lose myself

Lose Myself

I want to lose myself
just for one night
Lose myself in passion,
in frenzy,
in the ultimate give-in
(as long as I don't regret it later)

What is life but a series of wants
and desires?
What if i just give in to it all,
let it consume me...

A Night Out

Natasha Wright was out at a local pub, drink in hand, with her dream date Scott from work. He had gone off to the restroom and just reappeared at her side.

"Come home with me,” he says, leaning into me, a drink in his hand, a gleam in his eyes. “Screw everyone else..at the end of the night, I want you in my bed, Natasha." His breath was hot on her neck, making her pulse race and her body tremble.

God...the way he said her name...it made her throat clench, her heart beat faster, a slight wetness develop there in her panties. She was losing focus. She was relieved yet anxious. She couldn't wait to feel his hands on her body. His tongue on her nipples and neither regions. I just know he's gonna be amazing in bed...I bet he's great with his tongue.

Snap out of it she told herself. Get a grip..nothing's gonna happen. This is just a dream! She shook her head. She was daydreaming again...in the middle of a business meeting she was supposed to be taking notes in. The object of her fantasies was a few seats away, toying with his pen.

He's so cute and he doesn't even notice me I bet. She was self-conscious, well aware she wasn't fat, but not quite thin. No one at work looked at her like that, the hungry look she yearned for, she dreamt about.

Finally Mr. Dawes was done talking , the meeting over, and every one scattered. As she gathered her pen and notebook, someone nudged her. Oh god, it's him. He smiled at me. Of shit.

Hey Natasha, (Oh god..here we go again, she thought) I was wondering if, maybe...if you want to get a drink tonight?”

Oh shit! He talked to me! Ahh fuck! Okay, Natasha, get it together...

Natasha?” She snapped out of her reverie and smiled at the object of her lust.

Yes,.I'd love to meet you, Scott. Where? When?”

He smiled, that gorgeous smile that made her breathe catch. “How about Nicks, 8 o'clock?”

Oh, perfect. Yes, I'll see you then!”

Can't wait,” he said, walking out of the conference room, to his office.

Oh god..I nearly died! Oh my god! I can't believe my dream is coming true...she thought, gathering her stuff and thoughts and heading to her office.

"is it just a game? I don't know"

Slipping

Slipping
slipping back into the abyss
the black, dark patch of quick sand
the oblivion that is depression;
dark, quiet, lonely
...oppressive
It's seductive,
like a dark lover you can't resist,
or the sinful taste of a fine wine,
the sleek comfort of favorite hoodie and jeans
It's oh-so tempting
but I have to (re)learn to be stronger,
to resist,
to ignore the dark tendrils of desperation
that keep popping up,
the quiet voice in the back of my head,
questioning every.single.thing.
Must keep up,
keep my head above the proverbial font of water,
stop from
slipping

"and the ghosts down those empty roads, they all know my name"

By now you have found out that i really like to use lyrics, a lot, for everything. its a great way to relate how i am feeling. That one is from Lucero's song "Sometimes". Good stuff.

I have been daily doing tarot readings again, using The Green Man Tree Oracle, which is very cool, and the artwork is amazing! My readings have been very on point lately. For instance today's-
  • Beech tree-cross the threshold that is caging you, gain experience from the unknown, increase your knowledge
  • Yew-persevere to achieve the changes I want
  • Apple-vision, go deeper into the truth

wow. that is dead on....

In other news, I have been reading 2 books-(you can go to my goodreads page & see them HERE
1. "Airel" by Aaron Patterson, which is a YA book about angels and demons. Its pretty good so far! his blog can be found here
2. "Aleph" by Paulo Coelho, which is strange...but it seems fitting for me right now.

Okay folks, I am gonna go about my day now..cya next time! :)

something that came to me tonight

Here's something that came to me tonight on the way home from a friends place. It's not for any particular story...

***

“What is it that you want,” he asked, holding her in his arms, against his chest. He could feel her heart beat, steady....steady.

She thought for a moment, resting there on his chest, her arms around him, her feet tangled with his in the sheets. “I want love. Not just some cut rate love, real love. Inconceivable, irrevocable, all-consuming love.” She said it matter-of-factly with a wistful smile on her face.

His left hand caressed her back lovingly. “Well...”

“That's not too much to ask, is it? To want so much,” she asked, inclining her head up so she could see the look on his face. She was happy to see a sheepish grin shining back at her, mixed with a thoughtful gleam in his eyes.

“No, dear, it's not too much to ask... to want the world.”

“Good.”

Sneak Peek...

Okay, so I promised I would leak some of my novel out to my THREE readers (or @ least 3 followers) and I made you wait for ALL day.

So... here it is, from "Dead End Job" (working title) which some day will be finished and published.

"Chapter 1-
The day his life changed forever, he had been up since three a.m., touring the streets of Chicago on the back of his trash truck. It was nearly daylight, so he figured it was close to six. He and Mort had just finished up the East End and they were headed home, just a few more stops.

***
Vince has just picked up two trash cans on Vicar St. when he saw the body.

Yo! Mort! Stop the truck a sec,” he yelled as he jumped off the truck. A dead body wasn’t that big of a deal in Chicago, but this was the good side of town. He never saw corpses here. He leaned down and hesitantly checked the body over. The corpse was a woman, young, probably in her twenties, and she was nude. She had long auburn hair, pale skin, long legs, and magnificent breasts. He blushed a little and checked for a radial pulse. None. He stood up and looked around. There weren’t any clothes to be found near her. He walked over to the dumpster and peered in, nothing there but rotting trash and bugs. He went back to the body, leaned over her again, and knelt down to brush a long lock of hair out of her face.

That was when her eyes opened and the corpse sprang to life. Vince yelled, startled, and tried to step back, but she grabbed him before he could. She fastened herself to him. He tried to struggle but she held fast. He felt two pricks on his neck, his knees buckled and he fell to his knees. The world went black."

More to come...if you're good to me. ;)

the leaves have changed a time or two...

I just love the band The Civil Wars. Not only do they have a great song with Taylor Swift on The Hunger games, but they have an amazing cd. Go check out My Father's father , its haunting.

Now I am reading "Breathless" by Scott Prussing. I'm a few chapters in and I like it a lot. This is his site- go say hi.

Otherwise I am pretty good. I'm enjoying  feeling slightly numb these days. I'm thankful for having a job that keeps my mind occupied. And I am still writing...slowly...

keep your eyes open

Today's vision for the world can be summed up in this-"we also see a world where the part of ourselves who has allowed us to remain under the thumb of others suddenly sees the great benefit to everyone concerned in changing our own behavior so that we are no longer allowing ourselves to be controlled in any way whatsoever."

Yes.

I am obsessed w/ Taylor Swift's songs from the Hunger Games
-Safe & sound you tube
-Eyes Open, which doesn't have an official youtube video

Hi folks. I got back from OH Tuesday night and have been pretty busy. I've been working on writing and editing "Dead End Job", my vampire novel. I started it a LONG time ago but life got in the way. Also, I've been reading my little heart out. My recent reads and listens:

1." The Hunger Games" LOVED IT! here's the goodreads link
I just watched the movie last night w/ my sisters, Jessie & Annie, and my nieces and nephew. It was excellent too!
2. I finished "Ember" go check it out! Go say hi to the author over @ his blog, madison daniel's blog
3. And I have been listening to The Hunger Games soundtrack and a wonderful compilation of Lucero's music my bestie Amber made me.
4. Now I am reading Yasmine Galenorn's "Bone Magic" which is #7 of her Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon series. Goodreads link for that book
5. And...I read/edited a short story my friend Gabrielle is working on. Go find her on facebook-
I am looking forward to reading more!

Now I am going to go back and edit/write more.

you're never really gone

Living On

Going through pictures
Remembering old memories
thinking about the last days of your life
trying to hold onto the things that remind me

I miss you so much already
But I like to think you're somewhere close-by
Watching over us and shining love like you
did in life

We'll always remember you and how you touched us all and
I know that a lot of you lives on

life happens

Well, my adopted mom Carol passed away yesterday morning. She was @ home with family who had kept a constant vigil. I am grateful that she's no longer suffering and is with her maker (whoever/whatever that is). I can only hope that she is hanging out with her dad, other family, friends, and pets that have been waiting for her (I like the idea of Heaven, I hope it really does exist). I am very thankful that I listened to my intuition for once and stuck around. Life is never gonna be the same and she is greatly missed. Services are Saturday and then I am flying back to MA Monday.

In other news, I am OBSESSED with AWOLNATION. Go watch Burn It Down RIGHT NOW!

sleep

Can't sleep
Listening to ishuffle music,
Cats racing around the house and using their box as a playground,
trying to stay in this sleepy haze just a bit longer
Don't want to face the day just yet
Not ready to face reality quite yet
can I go back to that dream of strange utopian societies and zombies?
cant I just stay in the rabbit hole for one more day?
The world can wait

...first poem I've written in a LONG Time...

My 3 fav songs right now-
1. Crosses -prurient  here!
2.awolnation-not your fault here
3.bush-the sound of winter

life & family

life is...odd, fretful, annoying, yet joyous, wonderful, amazing and beautiful. I am grateful to be alive, surrounded with family and friends, with a job, an apartment, a car, and all the worldy possessions I can cram into my tiny apartment.I am thankful for the family and friends who have helped me become the person I am today, where I am. Every single person effects your life, just remember that.

I have been spending the last week in Ohio, with my (adopted) family, being together and watching over my Momma Carol. Without her in my life, god knows where or who I would be. The last time I was out here (October last year), she said she was proud of the person I had become and she liked to think she had some part in that. I couldn't tell her then (for fear of bawling my eyes out, i think) that she had a LOT to do with it. I realized, later, that Carol has been a part of my life for as long as my Father was a part of my life.

Carol & the rest of the Davis clan, came into my life when I was 10, when my Father & I moved to O.W. (OH) in the summer before i started 5th grade. god that year sucked! Anyway, she has watched over me and been a mom-figure since shortly after that. Carol (and david) is one of those amazing people who is so sweet, caring, loving, all-in-out amazing people the world needs more of. There is hardly a nasty bone in her (okay, maybe 1) and everyone who meets her, loves her. She's just amazing. She's always been a mom to me and no amount of thank-you's and I'm-sorry-for-being-an-ass's will ever capture how honored, blessed, and grateful I am to have had her in my life. I know I will never feel the same way her biological daughters do, but she has been the ONLY Mom I have ever really known. She's been my Mom (in a by-law way) since 1999 when she & David extended their hands and hearts to include me in their family; me a sudden parent-less 16 year old with a lot of baggage and family out-of-state. They didn't have to do that. I never asked for that. Hell, I am sure their own daughters didn't want it, nor their other family understand it, but they did it anyway and I accepted. I don't have any regrets, what-so-ever. They have been an amazing family to me and I can never say thank you enough...

It's a terrible misfortune that someone so amazing will soon be taken from us by the big C. It's always the good ones, unfortunately, never the worlds jerks and dicks.

I love you so much Momma Carol.

I will be flying out to OH tomorrow for an undeclared amount of time to be with my family. My (adopted) Mom Carol is battling cancer and it doesn't look good right now. Thanks for the support folks.

my word of the day is Peace. Always a good one.

Today is my...Sunday, so i am running around trying to relax and get things done before work tomorrow. And now I have to fund something else to read. hahaha. I'll mark one off my LONG kindle list.

I finished Darynda jones' latest book. I don't do long reviews, but you can read mine.

Third Grave Dead Ahead (Charley Davidson #3)Third Grave Dead Ahead by Darynda Jones

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Awesome! I love this series and this book is just another example of awesome. Charley and her friends really sink their teeth into you. And Reyes...well, he's infuriatingly hot and suspenseful. I ripped through this book very fast and absolutely loved it.

Todays horrorscop (yes, horror)
"Although you can see into the distance now and have an ambitious plan to reach your goals, your foundation may be weak if you don't trust your perceptions. You might be so self-critical that you think you won't be able to sustain your productivity as you move into unfamiliar territory. You could exhaust yourself before you reach your destination if you are pushing too hard. Paradoxically, slowing down today can actually help you achieve success quicker than you think.:

OI! Ok, I will have to take that advice! I am going to go meet my aunt for lunch, do a bit of shopping, gym, annnnndd write!

"You are a fantastic writer. I am already in love with the first sentence "

"You have talent Ok, let me read... would you mind if it was on retainer until we have enough short stories to do an anthology?"

Horoscope, Capricorn: "You are working hard to stabilize your assets or increase your income with the evocative Moon visiting your 2nd House of Possessions. However, you are seeing more value now in raising your self-esteem than your bank account balance. Step out beyond your old boundaries and try new ways of interacting with others. You may have a lot to offer, but it's still up to you to take the initiative."

wow. Just how I am feeling too.

I'm trying to work on a new story, but am feeling unmotivated, on top of the tiredness I already feel from working as an IFT EMT.  Work today and tomorrow then off for a few days. I'm going to Boston with my sisters and nieces & nephew on Thurs! can't wait!

catharsis

Today is my Saturday. Its odd having days off in the middle of the week, but its better than no time off.

I'm writing this post because I just deleted a folder of e-mails from a relationship a few years back. I read 2 of the emails and was so disgusted with myself I had to delete them all. That was a really weird time in my life and boy am I glad its over. That guy was a real jerk and it was just a horrible relationship. Deleting the entire folder was very therapeutic.

Now off to run amok...
ok, ok, new blog time! I swear I will start trying to do this more often!

FYI, I got a short story published!! "One Hot Night" in an anthology by Firefly & Wisp titled "Of Leather & Lace." check out their blog!
