Hi folks! I've been extremely busy this week with OT at work, but I did get a few books read and even wrote a short story. I just finished reading "Here Be Monsters-An Anthology" put out by M.T. Murphy and others. It's a great monster collection, go read it! It's FREE on Amazon right now-buy on amazon for kindle. My review is on my good reads page and on the Amazon site.

I finally finished "Cheyenne" the other day. It's written by Lisa Wiedmeier and it is also FREE on Amazon for kindle. get it here! This is the 1st book in her Timeless series and I did enjoy it. My review for that is here-review!

hmm...what else? OH! I read Melissa Marr's latest, "Faerytales & Nightmares". Oh that was great!! Make sure you have read the rest of her Wicked Lovely series first! My short review for that is HERE

And, as I said, I did write another short story. It may become more or might just stay as it is. Wanna see....?

Angel of Mercy
by Katherine Tildes

Emily held Mrs. McGregor's hand as the 97-year-old woman took her last breaths, her soul  rising from her body like a wisp of smoke, and hanging in the air expectantly. Emily withdrew her fingers carefully from the death grip and smiled down on the body. She pulled the pink blanket up and covered dear Mary's face, closing the woman's eyes with her left hand. "May you go in peace now Mary, I will guide your soul," she whispered to the corpse, doing part of her duty. closing her eyes, Emily reached out  her mind and with ghostlike fingers grasped the hovering soul, which shimmered for a second then blinked out of existence, not than anyone other than a Reaper, Angel or Demon could have seen it before. Emily felt a sort of tickle and opened her eyes. She knew Mary's soul had just gone off to wherever it was going, using her as a conduit to get there. Emily smiled, basking in euphoria for a moment, and walked out of the room into the busy halls of the ER.

There was a taste ;) Enjoy! :p

live fully and without haste

Hello folks! It has been a busy week, the beginning of many busy weeks to come. I started back at my 2nd job today and it went well. ho hum.

Now, read carefully, I want you to go do 2 things, simple things.

1. Go to your local library, bookstore, or on-line and get a copy of "A Perfect Blood" by Kim Harrison, #10 in the Hollows series. This is one of my all-time favorite series. Seriously, go read it, and if you haven't read the 1st 9, what are you waiting for?!  Here is the Goodreads page for it.

2. This is ONLY if you are 18+ and not a prude. Point your browser to Amazon.com, actually go HERE specifically, and buy that book. It's not very long but man, is it HOT. Go support my pal TR Stampz and indulge in some awesome erotica. And while you are at it, go to her FB page T R Stamp author page

Alright, I am out...gotta get some sleep soon.

hello hello

Hey again, I know it's been a little while. Just wanted to pop in. I finally finished Rob Blackwell's "A Soul To Steal" on Kindle and it is AWESOME. Here is my review on amazon. Go buy it already! You can say hi to Rob on his Facebook page-here! Great story!

I started reading Rachel Vincent's "Blood Bound" and so far, so good. Here is the Goodreads page for that book-goodreads for Blood Bound.

Like half of the US population I went and saw Avenger's last week-amazing! I highly recommend it!! I am going to see it again this week.

Otherwise..same old same old, trying to finish my novel and coming up with short stories instead. (sigh) One of these days..and soon I will have even less time to devote to writing as I start my 2nd job next week. Money talks! Until later...
